A permanent vacancy for a Turbomachinery Field Service Engineer has become available based at their site in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

Your new role

As a qualified Engineer or experienced Fitter and Turner you will be responsible for providing a hands on service and onsite assistance for Turbomachinery Products supporting compressor manufactures and end user customers. You will report directly to the Field Service manager and Be able to complete dry Gas Seal removals, strip, inspect, rebuild and install into Turbo compressors across remote sites in Australia.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role please see a few key requirements outlined below:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Trade qualifications
• Field installation experience of gas seals or mechanical seals is preferred but not essential
• A minimum of 3 years in a technical service capacity within a mechanical engineering or similar sector
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation
• Direct experience working with rotating equipment in a similar role
• Willing and able to travel nationally
• Current Drivers Licence and Passport
