Job: - Senior OpenShift Engineer

Location: -Canberra (Consider Candidates from Outside Canberra as well)

Duration: - 12 Months

We are looking for an experienced Senior Openshift Engineer who will be required to assist with the design and build of Kubernetes OpenShift environments to support the Department’s programs and solutions for a long-term contract.

Required Skills

· Experience building and running OpenShift/Kubernetes container-based solutions in large, complex enterprise environments (eg. Federal Government, Australia Post, Big four Banks, Utilities)

· Experience with CI/CD, GitLab

· Experience creating Helm charts

· Strong skills as an OpenShift Engineer & especially in CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, API, PCI-DSS AWS, Firewalls, Security.

· Experience ranging from 5 to 8 years in OpenShift environment & DevOps

· Experience with automation software (e.g., Ansible) & on major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google.

· Strong skills in writing Infrastructure as code & API Gateway, Elasticache, ECS, EKS, SNS, SQS, MSK, EMR.

· Expertise in Iaas, Paas, SaaS platforms, ISO 27001 or PCI-DSS, Security and Penetration Testing.

· Experience automating deployments using Ansible, Ansible Tower

· Industry Certification desirable.
