The Traffic Engineer is an essential part of council operations, providing traffic engineering advice to assist infrastructure planning and the broader City Assets department, with a primary focus on traffic management, road safety and public lighting.

The role is a mix of strategic and operational activities and you will have the opportunity to utilise your current skills whilst further developing your traffic engineering skills within an experienced supportive team, providing a variety of engineering services, including advice to our planning department with respect to traffic issues within new developments.

You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to provide sound advice to internal and external stakeholders and deliver a range of projects that contribute to the overall goals of Council.
