The Role

We are now looking to appoint an experienced Supervisor to provide leadership to our control room operations team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will supervise the remote monitoring center operations activities, ensuring compliance with statutory, corporate, and contractual requirements.

Additional Responsibilities Will Include And Not Be Limited To
  • Utilise the necessary systems to sustain remote wind farm, solar farm, and gas pipeline operations
  • Manage the effective and efficient operation of the remote monitoring center workforce
  • Provide leadership for site staff to ensure successful execution such that key performance targets are met
  • Support the site operations and maintenance requirements ensuring they are delivered to a high standard
  • Provide leadership to ensure successful plant operations such that the client service and the company’s performance targets are met
  • Ensure informative analysis and reporting is produced accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist in determining, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing operational budgets, staffing requirements, contractors/vendors, resources, and risk (including contingency requirements)
  • Anticipating, identifying, and managing situations to resolve in line with contract outcomes
  • Compliance with Worley Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Health Safety and Environment Management systems
  • Observance of quality and technical procedures, work instructions and practices
  • Support the site’s asset management plans
  • Maintain good internal/external organisational relationships
  • Initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities in processes or systems
  • Identifying, initiating, recommending, and assisting in the issue resolution process
  • Verifying and confirming the effective implementation of corrective actions


About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent Trade qualification
  • Extensive experience in Wind Farm, Solar Farm and Gas Pipeline operations
  • Extensive knowledge of control room operations
  • Proven people leadership experience
  • Understanding of Asset Management principles
  • Process Safety fundamentals
  • Sound working knowledge of SCADA systems
  • A dedication to client satisfaction
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • You will be an enthusiastic team player, with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Current driver’s licence
