JOB DESCRIPTION

This role sits within our CloudOps team who manage the day to day network and security activities, including managing and reporting on incidents and problems. You’ll be working particularly closely with our customers (internal and external), the Professional Services and Operational Services teams to provide value and an exceptional experience to our customers.

Technical Skills and Experience


  • 5+years experience working in a similar role (as a Network/Security Engineer)
  • Strong technical hands on network and security implementation and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong Cisco R&S and Nexus (Nexus9k) VXLAN skills
  • Must be proficient with BGP (essential)
  • NetScaler Load Balancer
  • Palo Alto firewalls
  • F5 LTM/DNS/APM
  • Exposure to Juniper (R&S and firewall) configuration and troubleshooting
  • Background working for an MSP/ Multi-vendor organisation 
  • A mix of BAU and Project experience BAU (80%) – Project (20%)
  • Ability to effectively document implemented solutions HLD LLD
  • Relevant qualifications in Network and/or Security (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/CISSP)
  • Previous experience in providing level 2-3 network support
  • Proven experience in Configuring user and site-to-site VPNs 
  • Experience Across public cloud technologies (Azure & AWS
  • Experience with cloud computing or hosted platforms
  • General experience with technologies, including hardware, software and SaaS

As you will be liaising with our stakeholders, it's very important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

It's also essential that you have the ability to work in a team and contribute positively to the AC3 service culture and a good understanding of the challenges involved with providing multi-tenanted services as a service provider.
