Job Description Summary

You will be responsible for taking ownership for the life cycle of the Gas Renewals Projects and building on our strong relationships with Gas authorities across Melbourne.

Due to exciting new growth, opportunities have arisen for and experienced Project Engineer to join Comdain’s Renewals team based in Epping

You will be responsible for taking ownership for the life cycle of the Gas Renewal Projects and building on our strong relationships with Gas authorities across Melbourne.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following;

• Effectively and professionally manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Interacting with the Tender team, in assisting with client proposals, methodology & costings
• Internal and external project reporting
• Commercial management, including preparation of claims, variations and extensions of time
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety, quality assurance & environmental management system
• Ability to manage all phases of large, complex, turnkey construction projects;
• Contract management, planning and financial management experience;
• Manage internal field and subcontractor resources
• Coordinate delivery activities to achieve project time and budget objectives.

In addition to the above, we require an individual with;

• Ability to build and leverage on relationships internally and externally
• Up to 5 years’ experience within the utilities industry; gas is preferred
• Ability to deliver practical solutions with attention to the required detail
• Qualifications required within Engineering, Project Management, Civil Construction or equivalent
• Knowledge & understanding of the Project Delivery life cycle
