About the role:

• Working very closely with our customers and sales force to understand their automation & project needs and provide solutions that use Omron products
• Assists in development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace.
• Get design wins by participating in our customer's product development phase in Australia
• Setup at trade shows and road shows.
• Provide applications/program support on technical issues as required.
• Be the voice of the customer to provide product feedback to engineering, quality, and service.
• Train customers to use our products. 

Skills and experience

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 5 years working experience in a related field.
• Proven experience and understanding of automation products and solutions 
• Outstanding communication skills 
• Ability to communicate with a range of customers at all levels 
• Self-motivator with high quality standards 
• Demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude
• Experience in project management would be a plus
