Our South Queensland Maritime team are seeking expressions of interest from Port and Maritime professionals across a diverse number of roles.

The people we are looking to join our team include:

  • Maritime Structural Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in design and documentation
  • Maritime Project and Design Manager with a client focus, a commitment to delivery excellence and experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects around port and maritime infrastructure
  • Maritime Structures or Materials/Durability Specialist with a focus on condition assessment and strong technical skills in remediation, life extension and asset management of maritime infrastructure.


Located In Brisbane And Working As Part Of An Established Professional Engineering Team, This Position Offers a Great Variety Of Projects, And Will See You Involved In
  • Major defence projects across Australia and the pacific
  • A strong suite of port planning, due diligence, and advisory support roles
  • A strong ongoing pipeline of ferry terminal and ports works


What You Will Bring To The Team
  • Technical leadership in assessment, analysis and design of marine infrastructure projects
  • Approximately 7 - 15+ years professional experience in the assessment, analysis, design and remediation of maritime structures (wharves, jetties, port developments, marinas, seawalls, pontoons etc)
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
  • Familiarity with maritime (Australian or other) design codes and guidelines in Australia and Asia.
  • Capability and experience in using structural analysis software is required for analytical roles (eg. Strand 7, Spacegass)
  • Able to produce concise and accurate reports, technical specifications, design calculations, and drafting briefs and mark-ups;
  • Relevant degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered status or eligibility for same is desirable. (RPEQ, CPEng)
