The Company

Our client is a Brisbane CBD based multi-disciplinary engineering company, collaborating with asset owners across multiple industries worldwide. They have a strong track record of success with a number of contracts and are now looking to grow their Brisbane based team.

The Opportunity

As the Structural Engineer, you will be working on site assisting the Brisbane based Principal Structural Engineer in managing a portfolio of projects.
  • Site-based project starting ASAP
  • Provide specialist structural/civil engineering expertise
  • Conduct field work including structural/civil, rusting and corrosion inspections
  • Assist with the preparation of engineering documentation including technical reports, specifications, and datasheets
  • Liaising with client for design approvals including arranging and attending meetings
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems

Your Experience

As the Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include delivery of complex brownfield structural and other multi-discipline projects.

It is essential that you have the following key attributes:
  • 5-10 years' experience working in a Structural Engineer role or similar
  • Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Proven materials handling experience within the mining industry
  • Experience delivering structural engineering solutions
  • Client liaison and sub-contractor coordination
  • Be proactive and have "Can do" attitude
  • Ability to interact with project, team, and stakeholders
