About The Role

We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager with road construction, planning and maintenance experience, for a fixed term contract until July 2023. You will be seconded into the Main Roads team in Albany, WA.

A generous relocation package will be offered to candidates outside Albany.

Key Tasks

  • Manage the contract administration and delivery of Packages of Work and Minor Works Contracts.
  • Manage financial reporting and performance of the Maintenance Budgets
  • Develop and deliver safety funded projects with limited funding time frames
  • Write contract documentation for delivery.
  • Undertake the role of Superintendents Rep on Minor Contract Works and Packages of Works.
  • Assist in delivery of Maintenance Packages.
  • Develop and deliver Safety funded projects with limited funding time frames
  • Develop benchmark estimates for Packages of Works

Key Skills, Qualifications And Experience Required
  • Over 3 years relevant experience
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Engineering
  • Skills/knowledge in road construction, planning and maintenance
  • Project and contract management experience
  • Quality, Safety and Environmental Contract Management experience
  • Construction scheduling experience
  • Research, analysis and problem solving
  • Good communication skills
  • Stakeholder relationship, negotiation and facilitation
  • Work site traffic management and White card
  • Defensive driving
