We are currently looking for a Senior level Civil Designer/ Engineer with land subdivision/infrastructure projects experience to join our dynamic Urban Development and Infrastructure Team.

As part of the team, this role will report to the Civil Leader and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopment.
  • Design of Main Roads in accordance with VicRoads standards would be an advantage.
  • Design of major and minor drainage infrastructure;
  • Understanding of hydrological principles with appropriate water management and treatments;
  • Deliver and manage water and sewer designs in accordance with MRWA standards.
  • Prepare relevant servicing and development reports
  • Works closely with the other members of the Urban Development team and sub-consultants;
  • Fostering relationships with current and potential clients building on your existing networks to generate new business;
  • Mentoring and developing skills of other members of the team.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree or similar in Civil Engineering;
  • Possess MWRA design accreditation
  • Demonstrate experience in Greenfield/Brownfields Subdivision and Infrastructure projects - a minimum of six (6) years ;
  • Competent in 12D and Autocad,
  • Knowledge in MUSIC, Tuflow, HECRAS or Rorb would be an advantage;
  • A thorough understanding of Civil engineering principles
  • An understanding of the land development process;
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong organisation and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities;
  • Experience in running projects within budget and on time.
