Description

Australian Training Company is seeking applicants who wish to pursue a career in Construction. The position is for an Indigenous 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Carpenter working a 40 hour week for a major constriction company based in Brisbane. The initial construction site is based at Marsden.

As an apprentice you will be involved with setting out, construct wall frames, ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs, flooring systems and install windows and doors. Some knowledge of the use of hand and power tools is an advantage.

The successful applicant will have a willingness to learn, be a focused and hard worker, good attention to detail and have an awareness of Workplace Health and Safety processes on a work site. Applicants must have car and current license. Being computer literate is also an advantage as there could possibly be some site administration involved.

Hours Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with the opportunity for some Saturday work.
