BAM International Australia is part of a global organisation headquartered in The Netherlands employing staff globally. BAM International Australia has a vacancy for a Digital Engineer in their Design team on a large Brisbane project.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role sits within the Design Team. You will be responsible for assisting with implementing the digital engineering strategy for the project and promoting digital engineering technologies and methods to generate value and reduce risk.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Focus On

• Proficient use of BIM technology
• Design Management processes
• Understanding of project operational and functional inputs into the Digital Engineering process
• Understanding of International best practice standards for the Design team
• Effectively and efficiently manage all third-party relationships in accordance with agreed procurement strategies.
• Ensure all activities are delivered within the required standards, requirements and timeframes

Minimum Requirements For This Role Include The Following

• Tertiary degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• 10 years + experience in the engineering or construction industry
• Ability to administer a project digital engineering plan
• Recognised background in management and delivery of large scale, complex activities on construction projects
• Heavy Industry, Rail and related Infrastructure experience
• Proven commercial acumen include planning and reporting on progress, cost and risk.
• Very strong demonstrated capability in the use of key BIM engineering systems
• Be solutions orientated and display a personal commitment to health & safety
