Estimating Manager - 10+ Years of successful tendering experience across commercial, hospitality, education, retail, government, hotels, industrial and health/aged care sectors.

The company is a well-respected, multi award winning main building contractor. The company have grown substantially in both size and stature over the 8 years. The founder and owner of the business takes an active role managing current and future client projects, mentoring our staff and leadership teams whilst managing the company's day to day operations. The company has an outstanding culture and ethical values! A true 'teamwork' approach to projects.

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join the business to tender on a heavy refurbishment projects reporting directly to the owner of the business


  • Full control of the company's tender process.
  • Manage and review of all tenders
  • Attend on-site inspections as required and tender meetings
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers and subcontractors/trades to secure prices over an agreed period
  • Assist with the company's business development through relationships
  • Work closely with the Construction teams
  • Manage, develop and lead existing estimating team


  • Min 10 years' local commercial fit - out & refurbishment estimating experience
  • Associated Tertiary qualifications
  • Experience tendering on projects valued from $2M - $30Mil+
  • Able to estimate across multiple disciplines
  • Organized and detailed with high level of accuracy
  • Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
  • Positive and professional attitude with ability to collaborate with other staff
  • Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
