The Company…

The company is a well-established Australian owned and operated company, renowned for being a single-source supplier of support systems. They operate in areas of expertise such as support for structural components, fire ratings, plumbing and HVAC, electrical, construction, concreting and tools. Being dedicated to providing exceptional products and services, they offer their customers tailored solutions to meet the demands of the market.

Due to the increased demand for their products and service, they are now seeking to appoint an Operations Manager, that can oversee the daily operations of the company.

The Position…

In this position, your role will be to ensure the efficient operations in the day to day running of the business such as deliveries, pickups, stocktake management and building customer relations. You will be required to coordinate an effective team performance through strong leadership, coaching and providing a clear directive of priorities, as well as developing measures and targets in consultation with management to monitor efficiencies. Further duties include:

  • Developing objectives and participate in strategic planning for longer-term process improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting less experienced employees to achieve goals by providing guidance and quality assurance.
  • Analysing, assessing and maintaining key performance indicators around DIFOTIS, interdepartmental collaboration and efficient service fulfilment.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Manager with excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with customers and suppliers. You will need to have a demonstrative ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, as well as experience in working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
