About the role:

We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity based in Geraldton for an experienced Electrical Dual Tradesperson until April 2022. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of electrical and instrumentation services including installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and commissioning of all Water Corporation’s assets throughout the Region including Murchison towns.

What the role will offer:

  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled (breakdown) maintenance in water systems and installs electrical and instrumentation components
  • Performs complex isolation and shutdowns
  • Complex problem solving of water systems and chemical dosing systems

Key skills and experience:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Instrumentation Certificate
  • Relevant High Risk Licences
  • WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in PLC, SCADA and telemetry systems.
  • Considerable trade experience in water supply and wastewater services.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements including hazard identification
