This is an opportunity for you to develop and challenge technical and practical skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The role of Program Engineer will be coordinating the development of Council's annual and long-term infrastructure works programs and will have input into the development of Council's Workforce and Asset Management Plans, Operational budget and long term financial planning.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Diploma in Project Management
  • Experience in Autodesk Civil Site Design/Civil 3D
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Project (Desirable)
  • Current and maintained driver's licence
  • SafeWork NSW Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Other details relating to this position are:
  • Grade 16 weekly salary of $1,622.70 to $1,866.11. Salary to be determined dependent upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant
  • Additional 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance in accordance with Award provisions
  • Employer Superannuation of 9.5% applies
  • 35 hour working week and a fortnightly RDO
  • Employment conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020
  • Financial assistance with relocation expenses

You will be required to answer the questions that relate to the criteria on the online application below. Pre-employment Screening

In the event you are shortlisted for an interview, and are then selected to progress to the next stage following interview, you must be prepared to undergo the following pre-employment screening processes as part of the selection process:

  • Please include two work related referees in your resume for reference checking purposes - please ensure your referee details are current
  • Provide the applicable Working with Children Check number if the role applied for requires a Working with Children Check
  • Undertake any other applicable screening that may be relevant to the role
  • Council may also check authenticity of certificates and qualifications
