Our Exciting Opportunity:

Ericsson Australia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a Solution Architect that will be working with the newest technologies: virtual EPC (vEPC), 5G NSA and Telecom Cloud. You will have hands-on exposure to the latest HW infrastructure. Activities cover different areas including Cloud Deployments in VMWare and Core Network Deployments in a virtualized environment. You will be responsible for analysing, crafting and developing commercially viable dynamic technical solutions for the customers. You will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide scope, define & design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions using the latest IPN technologies in Ericsson Cloud and SDN, considering E2E impacts.
  • Handle discussion with customers (Technical Staff and Senior Management) and understand customer requirements.
  • Propose solutions, develop and present technical presentations and proposals
  • Analyse customer technology, define business requirements & participate in risk analysis.
  • Work with Project or Program managers to understand the solution scope and fragment into deliverable activities & solutions.
  • Manage customer expectations, implementation of customer solutions within agreed time, scope and cost.

Your Skill/Experience may include:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or IT.
  • Significant years of experience in ICT Industry with experience in pre-sales and service delivery.
  • Deep technical IP networking knowledge, Ericsson Cloud and SDN experience, MPBN, IPRAN and interworking of Packet Core/ IMS functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing, fixing and correcting network problems remotely and on-site. BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, VPC, VDC, VSS should be standard.
  • demonstrate being self-starter and working client initiatives on your own.
  • Consistent record of leading teams to successful project outcomes.
  • Knowledge on Python, hands-on experience on Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson Switches/Routers will be an added advantage.

  • Good business understanding working on RFPs & Solution proposals.
  • Self-motivated and can work under stress and learn independently.
  • Good presentation, time management and leadership skills & ability to work with diverse set of backgrounds.
  • Result oriented with focus on customer satisfaction and project delivery.
  • Market insight, up to date with new developments in related technologies and products.
