The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture you will be champion health and safety for the business with a solution focused approach. This is a leadership role where you will influence a strong culture driving implementation of efficient safety systems, risk management and proactive coaching across the business with regular communication to the executive team. The purpose of this role is to embed change, safety culture and progressive safety initiatives with a risk-based approach. This is a role with clear leadership enabling the business to progress in all aspects.

National Work Health & Safety Manager

  • Minimum WHS Diploma qualification required or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in managing health, safety, environment and quality at either a national or regional level across a diverse organisation.
  • A practical approach with strong knowledge of legislative requirements.
  • The ability to drive change and performance at a national level and to initiate and develop solutions to complex issues
  • Ability to problem solve, use judgement and make appropriate decisions.
  • Demonstrated change management skills through the use of systems improvement and engaging with stakeholders.
