About Our Client
Our client has been operating for over 30 years and manufactures and installs Joinery, glazing and metalwork for a wide range of sectors including Government, Health and Commercial. Our client has earned a reputation for their quality products, passion, processes, professionalism and for consistently exceeding clients' expectations.
Due to repeat business and an increase in work load the business is seeking a highly experienced hands on Production Foreman to join the team.
Your New Role
Working closely with the Factory Manager and your site team, you will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of production joinery and a team of Cabinet Makers ensuring works are completed to program and the highest standard. You will be required to be hands on when required, be a strong leader and team player.
- Trade qualified as a cabinet maker, shopfitter or joiner
- 10 years + experience manufacturing architecturally designed joinery
- Ideally have at least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to read plans
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly
- Effective literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with machinery used in the timber industry
