The Role

This opportunity seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to implement, maintain and improve automated testing and deployment pipelines on AZURE for various platforms. This includes CD pipelines for applications enabling users to search, query and download data. Working as part of a key scientific research observational, the key responsibilities will include:

  • Implement ETL data workflows across multiple applications + environments
  • Contribute + drive a strong DevOps culture
  • Support, monitor and continually develop and improve tools. software + services
  • Develop information support materials
  • Facilitate the continuation + expansion of operations + services

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Expertise in continuous integration + deployment using
    • Kubernetes
    • Docker
    • Terraform
    • Airflow
  • Exceptional experience in automation scripting using Python
  • Strong experience in ETL
  • Ability to work in a Linux-based environment
  • Ability to work with a range of computing platforms, including AWS
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns
