How you will contribute

We are currently seeking a proactive & experienced Estimator/ Internal Sales Representative to join our Webforge Locker division on a full time basis. Reporting to the State Manager QLD, you will maintain and develop relationships with our key architectural and building customers with a focus on achieving sales, margin product quota and assigned strategic account objectives.

You will be responsible for;

· Completing estimating take offs for manufactured to order items for the company’s range of products, predominantly servicing the Architectural and Industrial Custom Perforated / Expanded. 

· Support and participate in business development by actively seeking new opportunities and relationships.

· Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

· Establishes and maintains productive professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts, most specifically to influence key decision makers.

· Providing accurate and timely estimates of stock and custom items to enable sales growth

· Coordinating the involvement of company personnel including support, service and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

· Proactively assessing, clarifying and validating customer needs on an on-going basis.

· Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs.

· Maintain market intelligence and Competitor activity to inform plans

· Makes recommendations for improvement of products and services sold

· Actively manages Sales Opportunity Pipeline to deliver on business objectives

Ideally you will have

  • Estimating and Internal Sales experience, preferably within the sheet metal / construction industry.
  • Ability to understand and support responses to quotations, proposals and tenders.
  • Solutions-orientated, with demonstrated experience in creating solution selling opportunities
  • Technical aptitude to ensure client needs are clearly understood and fulfilled, coupled with the ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint and estimating tools and processes.
