A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced, self-motivated Sales Engineer to join this global leader in spray technology for industrial use.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new potential revenue streams within the industrial food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, energy, paper and steel sectors, through existing clients with a strong focus on developing new business opportunities.

This is a position for an enthusiastic, results orientated and self-motivated candidate who will be driven for success. You will have automation or PLC programming experience.

As part of a small but professional and enthusiastic local team, you will pursue sales leads, visiting existing and new clients across Adelaide and regional South Australia.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Engineering or technical degree (electro-mechanical by preference, or similar by experience)
  • 3-5 years ‘hands on’ field experience with industrial fluid process equipment (i.e. nozzles, valves, sensors, tanks, piping, mixing, coating, conveying, blending, cleaning, industrial automation technologies
  • Knowledge of:
  • Industrial automation equipment and electronic control equipment
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components and systems for industrial fluid handling
  • PLC programming – an advantage
  • Proven track record in sales
  • You will be a self-starter, driven by the desire to achieve new sales with new and existing clients, whilst delivering a profitable outcome
  • Excellent customer service skills, analysis and diagnostic skills
  • A supportive and ambitious team player determined to succeed
  • Computer literate including PowerPoint experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management skills
