Short Description:
Lead Delivery Engineer: Full stack
Sydney
The designing, coding, testing and documentation of complex software system change in order to deliver business value to the customer following agreed standards and tools. Includes leading the review of system change work with others and contributing to the development and usage of the associated standards and tools. Typically will be performed in a sprint taking well defined stories as input with output being the tested change to the impacted system(s) with associated test cases (captured for future regression use) and associated changes to the solution documentation.

Skills /Competencies:
Essential:
- Extensive Java development experience, with a view of best practices. Extensive use and understanding of Sprint Boot.
- Responsive web development experience, strong HTML5, CSS3, JS. Knowledge of ES6/ES7, typescript
- Experience with Angular(2+) and material design, experience with Mocha, Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, or another unit testing framework.
- Website Accessibility knowledge
- Hands on experience with the Adobe AEM platform including the development of components, templates
- Automation testing experience using Cucumber, Selenium, or other tools.
- CI/CD concepts, Jenkins & Git working knowledge
- Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP). Experience building RESTful web services/API using Java, and Swagger.
- Experience with Linux
- Experience in an AWS cloud environment
- Oracle database or other database experience
- Agile delivery experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience, for small 4-12 person teams, driving delivery/estimation improvements and tracking scope, budget etc.
- People management experience, having at least 4-9 direct reports
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google tag manager
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
- Telecom domain experience would be a bonus

- A can-do attitude, which will showcase your skills as a java developer
- Able to communicate well with others and strong written communication
- Highly organised and time efficient
- Display the ideal balance of being autonomous in your role, yet collaborative within your team
