About the Role:

The Cyber Security Architect’s primary objective is to assist the Cyber Security Team to manage and deliver organisation-wide Cyber Security maturity and capabilities, appropriate to the organisations Cyber Security risk appetite.

Key components of the role will include the co-development of DA's Cyber Security roadmap and the assistance with execution of initiatives that deliver effective prevention, detection and response capabilities to address known and emerging Cyber Security threats.

You Will be Responsible for:

  • The delivery of elements of DA’s business strategy that pertains directly to Cyber Security Risk & Management Plan(s)
  • Translating Cyber Security improvements into tangible outcomes for DA and our clients
  • The continual assessment and improvement of DA’s Cyber Security maturity
  • Assisting with the development, monitoring and reporting of relevant Cyber Security metrics to stakeholders including - Board Risk Committee, the Senior Leadership Team, systems owners and DA clients
  • Assist with development and continuous improvement of capabilities and processes that enable DA to effectively detect, respond and recover from Cyber Security incidents
  • Proactively understanding the regulatory and compliance landscape affecting Cyber Security including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), ASAE 3402 audits, ASAE3150 audits, APRA CPS234.

What You'll Need to Succeed: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, or a related discipline. Post graduate education in cyber security will be well regarded
  • Extensive exposure (minimum 5+ years) in a cyber security discipline
  • Experience with complex technology systems 
  • Relevant cyber security certifications such as SABA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, PCI-DSS, would be desirable
  • Professional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Security, MCSE, VCP and or/ CCNA are encouraged.
