Our client is an asset management software (SaaS) that has been operating for 4 years and seeking an experienced BDM to join the team.

Client Details

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining a sales pipeline, customer acquisition strategy, and outbound sales activity for the product in order to achieve sales targets. This includes aspects of new sales and cross selling in an outbound capacity.


  • Generate new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting all verticals in the Australian market
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle from generating leads, demonstrating the product, pricing, negotiation and closing
  • Utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop your pipeline
  • Execute exploratory calls, conduct screen share or in person demos of SaaS solution, negotiate price, manage a pipeline and forecast deals on a monthly basis
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals
  • Although expected to work autonomously, you will be closely supported in working, negotiating and partnering with prospective clients as you work to close larger scale deals.


  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a new business with the SaaS space and/or within the Construction / building services space.
  • Experience selling both into SMB clients
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in understanding the customers need, translating that to the value our product creates for their business
  • Create and manage an effective sales process including pitch materials, CRM management and interfaces with the broader team
  • Devise and refine a targeted sales strategy that aligns to sales targets
  • Record insights from sales pitches, phone conversations, events and feed this information into the CRM and back to key stakeholders
  • Motivate those around you with an inclusive approach through your passion for what you do best
