Due to the continued success of our Asia Pacific operations, we currently have a number of exciting opportunities for Highway Designers /Engineers at both mid and senior levels to join our Sydney Transport Infrastructure team.
Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Strategic Design, Concept Design and Detailed Design, Preliminary Papers etc.
- Digital engineering understanding and implementation requirements
- Drafting proposals demonstrating an understanding of project needs.
- Multi-disciplinary Co-ordinate and support multi-disciplinary design concepts.
- Interface management and client engagement
- Effective liaison between both internal and external stakeholder
- Provide technical and financial input to tender and bids.
- Identify risks and opportunities for the design and planning.
- Understand and adhere to Austroads, RMS Supplements and local standards and RMS specifications.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar related qualification.
- Minimum 3 years experience working within the sector of highway design.
- Demonstrated experience working with all sectors within highway engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with design packages (12d, Openroads, Infraworks 360 and Civil 3d).
- Ability to lead and manage a small team for Senior applicants.
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of stakeholder engagement
