They have a need for a Team Leader / Supervisor / Leading Hand for their Fitting section. In this new position, you will get involved in various hands on duties and assist in the management team. You will have 4 team members reporting to you and you will report to the works manager.
You will be responsible for the assembly and installation of machines and parts as set by the Fabrication and
Fitting Team Leader or Manufacturing Manager.
This is a hands-on Leadership position where you will be expected to work autonomously individually or with a small team as work requires. You will lead job/service teams in the workshop and on-site to ensure plant and equipment is maintained.
Some Interstate travel may be required to lead installations, and you will be responsible for completing the relevant site work permits required to complete installation and service work. Often involved in overseeing final commissioning and machine sign off.
To Apply You Should Have The Following Skills
- Trade qualifications.
- Fitting and Machine Building experience
- Supervisory skills/experience.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) A MUST.
- Computer skills
- ERP skills/experience ideal
