Ecka Granules Australia is part of Kymera International Group of Companies, which is a global leader in the manufacture of metal powders and granules. Due to their continued success, they are currently looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join their team at Bell Bay.

Your new role

Reporting to the General Manager, this Process Engineer position will see you play a lead role in continual improvement across the operational site. Working closely onsite with the team, you will analyse processes and data in order to identify potential production and efficiency improvement strategies for implementation. In this dynamic role you will use your technical knowledge to improve data reporting, control system processes and identify how to take the operational efficiency of the plant to the next level. Additionally, you will regularly work on ad-hoc campaigns or projects and will be responsible for environmental and compliance reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal applicant will be degree qualified and have experience working in a Process Engineering role in the manufacturing or resources & mining sectors. Practical and comfortable working onsite, you will be adaptable and have a keen eye for detail. With high level analytical skills and ideally experience with SCADA or a similar control system, you will have the ability to bring new ideas on process improvement, data analysis and reporting. Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles will be highly advantageous.
