We are seeking an Engineering Officer who will be responsible for providing assistance in the engineering design, drafting, research, construction, operation and maintenance of Rail Systems. Engineering Officers have the opportunity to rotate through the Communications, Signalling, Electrical and Operational Technology branches of the Network and Infrastructure Division. There is currently a vacant position in the Communications Branch and this will report to the Senior Communications Design Engineer.

To be successful in this role you must have a Diploma in engineering design or similar and be working towards an Advanced Diploma. Additionally you will have experience in communications, electrical, electronic, railway signalling or control system design or field experience. Competency in the use of AutoCAD, or other design aids, and computer applications such as Microsoft Office is an essential requirement of the role.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which permanent appointments will be made for future vacancies that arise within the next 12 months. There is one permanent position available for an immediate start, on a full-time basis.
