JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting a Senior or Principal Signalling Engineer to work on a significant rail project in Western Australia.

Location- Perth, WA

Duration- Fixed Term 24 Months / Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Review of signalling designs
  • Providing mentoring and leadership to less experienced engineers within the team, as well as displaying willingness to help others outside of the direct team when required
  • Help to implement processes to manage relevant signal design documents and data
  • Assist in the development or updating of rail standards
  • Confidently engage with key stakeholders
  • Support the construction, installation, testing and commissioning phase and other related activities as necessary to deliver the projects (if and when required)


Required Experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering (or an equivalent approved qualification)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Experience in Signal design, functional testing and an understanding of relevant rail standards
