Level Six Venture Management is a boutique consultancy that specialises in providing tailored services to development and property clients across multiple sectors.

We are seeking a Development Manager that has experience in residential and retail-led mixed use development from inception to completion. Significant exposure high quality projects is valued, along with Build to Rent models and exposure to UK and European markets and networks. Given the boutique and agile nature of our team and the varied nature of our services, capability across general project management of master plan and building projects is also required.

Job description below:



  • Carry out financial feasibility analysis and cash flow forecasting 
  • Prepare asset and development strategies incorporating analysis of market conditions, leasing requirements, design constraints and project risks

Ongoing Management

  • Coordinate all participants on the project, ensuring expectations are understood and agreed, program maintained, key milestones met, and that delivery, performance and financial targets are achieved;
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships including engagement with local council, joint venture partners, project consultants and state government departments;
  • Monitor and update the project feasibility, including cash flow forecasting
  • Develop and monitor a project programme in sync with the financial modelling
  • Report on status of development; and
  • Collaborate with the client’s internal teams and external resources on a range of matters, such as planning, design, legal and marketing/sales



  • Implement a high-level effective project management framework and method statement, incorporating necessary review processes as required.
  • Define and implement criteria for control and management of the project.
  • Co-ordinate and direct end-user input throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Appraise options and submit to the client for approval.
  • Secure resources and expertise from the client as required, e.g. appoint professional advisers to support the project sponsor role.
  • Lead and oversee the value management strategy.
  • Manage project budget, including risk allowance.
  • Monitor and control changes/variations following approval by the client.
  • Monitor compliance with construction program and identify opportunities for improved delivery.


  • Oversee the effective operation of the site through conducting regular site visits and quality checks.

Contract Management

  • Administer the contract from inception to completion

Business Development

  •  and actively promote the interests of the company within the industry.
  • Actively seek new clients and business opportunities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Marketing and PR strategies
