We are searching for a highly motivated and driven person who is interested in growing and expanding our already established and successful Landscape Maintenance Department

The role is primarily responsible for the delivery of excellence and high quality commercial landscape maintenance services across all sites. This is a busy role which requires an extremely well organised person who can engage the team on ground whilst delivering a high level of business development, client management, administration and reporting requirements. The role is supported closely by the Managing Director, close contact with other Managers and has access to Business Mentoring.

About the role

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:-

  • Ability to connect and build relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify and establish new opportunities for departmental growth.
  • Experience in pricing and tendering together with EOI submissions.
  • Highly advanced communication and time management skills are essential
  • Establish, plan and implement strategic development for the long term growth of the department.
  • Ability to promote and deliver high standards continuously meeting company expectations
  • Management of client reporting, EOM procedures and prompt responses to all client correspondence.
  • Detailed understanding of financial reporting and analysis
  • Sound understanding of Safety, Environmental and Quality systems in the workplace
  • Staff Development, training and succession planning
  • Strategic program scheduling delivering high quality results across a broad scope

Skills required

  • Working knowledge and experience of commercial landscaping - minimum 5 years
  • Minimum 5 years in a Management role
  • Qualified in Horticulture; certified in Turf Management and or Irrigation highly desirable
  • Proficient level of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficient level of Estimating and Tender submission
