Our client a leader in the digital space is looking for a Network Migration Engineer to join their team. This organisation has been supporting enterprise over the last 25 years and successfully assisting them into the New world of communications. 

Your new role

· Implement Migration processes, specialising in AGG network migration tasks, other migration tasks that are required will comprise these domains: FTTN/B/P/C, RSP CVC, AVC and NNI migrations, HFC network, NCN management networks, site environmental networks, working on a production environment.

· Deliver on Migration schedule KPIs, implementing a migration process while maintaining quality, completing testing processes that will deliver a successful migration

· Work with onsite engineers during the migration window to resolve hardware, configuration, firmware and site cabling related issues, to help deliver defect free migration.

· Manage network augmentation, capacity upgrades, LI, SCN network growth, transit DWDM capacity up lift, network life cycle manage of core infrastructure.

· Influence the outcomes of a range of Integrations activities including ownership of nominated process and systems through continuous improvement involvement and recommendations.

· Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement

To be successful in this role you will need

· Tertiary level qualification in Information Technology or Engineering

· CCNA required

· Telecommunications experience in a relevant operational environment 3-5 years, focused on Routing & Switching that included implementing Migration processers.

· Good understanding of IT OSS systems - tools used to manage the network, network topology knowledge, data management using different tools & technologies from integration and operational perspective.

· Able to work well under pressure across a multi technology mix working across all technology domains Transit, Access Networks, SEM, Aggregation & management Networks and OSS platforms.

· Experience in telecommunications fault finding – trouble shooting on implementation of the process and migration related issues

· Demonstrated a level of project management skills managing stakeholders expectations
