Exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Network Construction team

About The Role

Service Stream's Network Construction division are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Wireless Project Delivery team. Reporting directly to the Deployment Manager, you will be responsible for Site Acquisition, Environment, Design, Construction, Technical Installation and Integration of Mobile Base Stations. The role can be based in Welshpool (WA) office. Offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, this position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure you hold all relevant HSE training required to perform your role including but not limited to; Working at Heights, EME Awareness, White Card, Client and Service Stream Inductions
  • Ensure that all HSE incidents that you notified of are reported internally to your line manager
  • Ensure that you fully understand the scope of work of any project or program that you are working on
  • Develop and maintain a thorough technical knowledge of all base station components and their specific applications and uses.
  • Maximise revenue through ensuring a thorough understanding of the client contract, specifically ensuring an understanding of components that in and out of scope
  • Ensure that any issues impeding submission of claims to client or payment of claims are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Ensure you work as part of the regional team with the expectation that you will assist all projects and role disciplines where required to meet our clients' delivery objectives
  • Manage all problems in a proactive way, ensuring that problems are raised with solutions

Skills And Experience
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a Design and Construction environment
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Project, Word and PowerPoint
  • High level numerical analysis skills and the ability to provide clear conclusions and recommendations on complex issues
  • Knowledge of property and leasing matters within a telecommunications environment
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering, Building or equivalent
  • Previous experience on a Telstra account is advantageous
