The Landscape Guys are Perth landscapers with ample experience and lots of innovative ideas to provide clients the results they require. We specialise in commercial, backyard, front yard and school landscaping, constructing composite decking and nature playgrounds, and laying artificial greens and turf. We also supply a range of products for landscaping needs. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Landscape Gardener who will be responsible for:

• Create or read layout of planned area, select desired plants, trees and flowers according to clients preferences and arrange construction process Maintain and grow gardens to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations
• Prep gardens, lawn or planting areas by laying top soil, nutrients or fertiliser and clearing land of rocks, weeds and other objects
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and seed or lay grass according to area design
• Pruning trees, shrubs and hedges using various tools to neatly shape them to a desired design whilst affixing support structures and protection devices.
• Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
• Maintain gardens to a high standard by watering, spreading fertiliser, trimming plants, cutting back trees, building protective barriers and removing unwanted plants or objects. Provide nutrient supplements and insect control sprays to plant life
• Monitor plant and tree growth and set up plants in appropriate conditions to facilitate healthy growth
• Install artificial turf and construct garden or park additions including pathways, walls, fences, pools, furniture, barbeques, etc.
• Build fences, erect gazebos, construct rockeries, composite decking, and positioning patio slabs. Also, install lighting, furniture, and other finishing touches.
• Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers

Qualification and Experience

Relevant Certificate III or IV qualification with at least 2 years relevant experience OR 3 years relevant experience

• Knowledge of gardening and plant and flower care techniques
• Knowledge of nutrient supplements and insect control sprays to plant life
• Ability to use professional mowing, trimming and pruning equipment
• Strong manual skills

• Communication and time management skills
• Electrical/ Mechanical background is highly desired but not necessary
• Manual license is highly desired but not necessary

Salary: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
