JOB DESCRIPTION

Operational

  • Carry out all work as directed by your Maintenance Manager.
  • Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions.
  • Assemble electrical and electronic components and appliances.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Connect electrical equipment to power supplies.
  • Connect switches, outlets and other fittings.
  • Connect circuit breakers.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Maximise production efficiency through Teamwork, Innovation and Lean Manufacturing principles.
