The role

Sedgwick is seeking a Building Consultant to come on-board on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have experience in Commercial and Residential building practices and be able to demonstrate extensive building knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and explaining the cause of building damage whether from design fault, defective building work or maintenance related issues
• Providing detailed assessment reports
• Preparing detailed scopes of work for repair of the damage
• Auditing building repair work with compliance to Australian Standards and/or the National Construction Code
  
  
  

• Extensive building experience
• A current Builders License or inspectors' qualifications
• Project management experience in a technical-commercial environment (highly regarded)
• A methodical and efficient approach to managing your time
• Be well presented, polite and have a friendly attitude
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Computer skills, experience across Microsoft suite and Microsoft Project
