This role is suitable for a health industry motivated solution architect who will be responsible for leading the Healthcare business presales activities focused on Infrastructure / Cloud Architecture in major bids and for strategic accounts, ensuring that the solution embodies company win themes and differentiators.

The person needs to be able to understand Azure/AWS Cloud platforms and Virtusalisation but from a Pre-sales focus. This role will do little delivery but will need someone who has come from a delivery background to be able to understand the work.

This person will be responsible for working with other Solution Architects to propose new solutions to customers, be able to create pre-sales strategies and come from a healthcare background ideally. Healthcare experience is not essential, but it would be very helpful and give candidates an advantage.

Salary and Role Breakdown

This role will be 80% focused on Sales / Solutions Enablement and 20% on Consulting / Billable engagement work with customers. Which attracts an On-Target Earnings bonus portion of the salary package. (20% OTI).

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • 5-10 years' experience in solution architecture with focus on virtualisation and cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Experience or ability to be able to engage multiple layers including Sales Teams, Solution Teams, Technical Design teams, architecture board, Internal Management/Snr leadership as well as the customer
  • Experience selling business and technical solutions in a presales capacity.
  • Experience in ANZ Healthcare industry an advantage (but not essential)
  • Experience leading the solution strategy in major bids
  • Develop a winning solution that leverages company strategies using input from appropriate stakeholders
  • Proactively identify opportunities to exploit Healthcare's current assets and market penetration to create incremental solutions and revenue opportunities for the Sales team
  • Be able to position Healthcare solution design against our competitive offerings
  • Experience in leading/ coordinating 3rd Party vendors to required business outcomes
  • High-level of knowledge with Health industry Skills in business analysis, and requirement definition
  • Microsoft Azure architect certification (desirable)
  • TOGAF and AWS experience/certification (desirable)
