The Manildra Group is a major force in Australia?s agricultural and food industries. Manildra is the largest user of wheat for industrial purposes in Australia, and also refines the entire New South Wales sugar crop. The Manildra Group is a leading supplier of raw ingredients to the food, beverage, confectionery and paper producing industries.

To meet the demands of our continued growth we are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Process Engineer for our Bomaderry Plant. The role is a combination of plant technical support and the implementation of projects from inception through to commissioning.

Qualifications And Experience

• Tertiary qualified Engineer (Chemical or Mechanical).
• Proven experience in an industrial process environment.
• Strong trouble-shooter able to analyse plant and improvement solutions.
• Ability to co-ordinate multiple and often conflicting priorities.
• Excellent communication skills from the shopfloor to senior management.
  

Experience in a number of the following processes would be highly regarded:

• Grain and bulk powder handling, grinding and milling
• Food grade plant design and operation
• Wet Separations processes using decanters and centrifuges,
• Packing of products into paper bags, bulka bags and containers
• Wet processing of wheat starch
• Drying in flash, ring and tube bundle dryers
• Fermentation, cooking and distillation
• Evaporation
• Microfiltration and reverse osmosis
• Gas and coal fired boilers
  

Previous experience leading a team or supervising others would be advantageous.
