Redpath are working with a tier 3 NSW builder who focuses on commercial new build projects. The sectors they cover include Education, Health Care and Age Care.

The company itself has been established for over 40 years and have offices across Australia. They have a great family orientated culture where everyone is involved and will help when needed, they promote development and give people opportunities to look at various responsibilities which gives you the opportunity to learn.

They have won a number of projects with in the new build commercial space valued up to $10m.

What we are looking for in a GENERAL FOREMAN:
  • 4+ years as a Structures Foreman on commercial new build projects with a trade qualification in carpentry
  • Experience working on projects up to $25m
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Tenure and commitment to previous employees
  • Strong industry references to support your experience
The responsibilities of the GENERAL FOREMAN include:
  • Coordinate, oversee and provide direction to sub-contractors for the main structure of the building
  • Ensure the sub-contractors are undertaking works to the highest quality & safety standard.
  • Provide the Site Manager with regular site progress updates
  • Oversee on site safety requirements
