JOB DESCRIPTION
KPMG’s Property Due Diligence Group is the in-house team of Chartered Building Surveyors, Environmental Scientists and Building Certifiers with full service teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth; working with both private sector clients and governmental bodies on a range of projects involving offices, retail, industrial, health care and other sub-groups.
At present we have an opportunity for a Senior Building Consultant to join our Melbourne based team and assist with project management, inspections and professional reporting, while also providing support to the national team.
The core skills needed in this role are a sound construction knowledge; a clear understanding of client strategies and the ability to lead a team to achieve common goals.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:
- The ability to lead and motivate a team of internal and external experts
- Excellent liaison skills with fellow engineers and consultants to be able to source relevant information for compilation in reports and assessments
- The ability to write and present a cohesive, coherent and technically sound report for readership by high level executives
- A very professional demeanour that will allow interaction with high level stakeholders in formal and informal settings
- Preparing tenders and contract bids for private sector and government projects
- Qualification in a construction or property related degree and registration with a relevant professional body would be highly favourable.
