About the role

Thiess is seeking Excavator Operators for permanent employment opportunities at our open cut coal mining project, Peak Downs.

Peak Downs Mine is located 6km south-east of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin.

Roster & Conditions

• Roster is 7 days on, 7 days off rotating shifts
• 12.5 hour dayshift/ 12.5 hour nightshift
• Permanent Position
• A bus will be provided from Mackay & Townsville to site
• Salary sacrifice flights available

About you

To be considered for these opportunities you are required to have:

• Prior experience operating a Liebherr 996 Excavator
• Relevant coal mining certifications
• A commitment to a positive safety culture
• Be committed to our principles of Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Delivery
