Salary package: $60,000 - $70,000

Duties and responsibilities:

• Providing excellent ICT Technical support to staff and users by identifying and troubleshooting faults in the network and systems through in person or remote communication and provide prompt resolutions;
• Ensure planning, development, implementation and effective delivery of ICT support procedures for seamless operations;
• Installing, testing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software, computer & network systems and other applications such as data backup software and learning management system;
• Enhancing the technical support mechanism by making alterations to the systems if required;
• Establishing user accounts on the network; diagnosing and fixing network problems (LAN, WAN, Wireless Access Points etc.) and hardware or software faults;
• Retaining inventories of hardware and software and managing backups of servers to prevent loss of data;
• Recording and documenting issues and faults along with solutions, for future reference and reporting to relevant IT support staff;
• Responding to queries from users of computers and software applications and provide training so that they can settle such issues in the future;
• Ensuring that the organization’s operating system is fully functional with reduced downtime by automating and simplifying IT processes.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor in relevant qualification or higher
• Ability to lead a team and work independently when required
• Confident in delivering training sessions
• Knowledge regarding IT and network monitoring software
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work as part of team
• An up-to date understanding of new technology and have experience of using networking and operating system as well as online learning system
