This busy EPC has recently been awarded several projects across mining, oil & gas, and infrastructure. They are currently supporting many of our local and international energy companies with engineering and construction services. They are seeking the support of an experienced I, E&C Engineer to support a low voltage, liquids project for a 6 – 12 month project.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years’ experience working with low voltage equipment, power systems, instrumentation and control systems preferably within hydrocarbon facilities.
• Experience working with multi-discipline engineering teams and projects within the Resources and Energy markets
• Instrumentation and Controls experience including, Functional descriptions, estimates and bill of materials, P&ID, I&C deliverables / drawings, Control systems - SCADA, PLC, DCS, SIS, Instrument design and data sheets, Site Investigations, FAT, SAT, testing and commissioning.
• Proficient in protective relaying, motor control systems, hazardous area classification assessment and reporting, and electrical equipment sizing.
• Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering degree
• Familiar with Australian Standards AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 60079
• C.P. Eng., RPEQ required
• Must be familiar with electrical safety regulations and codes compliance requirements.
