Microservices and Open Banking provides APIs that power the digital services for the bank. The team builds and supports these modern cloud-based services running several hundred transactions per second. These are highly performant and resilient services with the ability to make and deploy changes within hours. The team supports modern engineering practices across multiple languages java, node utilising container and serverless deployments. We embrace a culture of continuous improvement and learning and provide leadership across the bank on engineering practices.

As our Analyst Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and running microservices in production (including UI, API and data components)
• Creation and maintenance of deployment tooling, including scripts, monitoring, logging, CI/CD pipelines
• Building highly scalable and resilient technical solutions that enable rapid development and deployment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet product roadmap and user needs
• Continuous self-development and learning to maintain knowledge of best practice and latest technology developments

What you will bring

• Experience working in with public cloud and Cloud provider certification (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Serverless, Containers and Microservice Patterns of development
• Engineering CI/CD pipeline automation and tooling (Github, Jenkins, Artifcatory, CodeDeploy, Cloudformation)
• Proven experience in Jira/Confluence
