Opportunities don’t often come to join a high technology industry in a rural setting. Located in Griffith, NSW, Casella Family Brands is one of Australia’s largest wine exporters. An opportunity exists for a Graduate/Junior Engineer to assist management with the safe and timely delivery of infrastructure projects and upgrades to existing facilities.

Your duties will include assisting the Plant Engineer in the following:

• Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers;

• Monitoring costs;
• Supervision of minor works;
• Preparation of reports;
• Assist in short-term planning;
• Certification of subcontractors / suppliers claims; and
• Cost analysis, forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare subcontractor / supplier inquiry documentation and comparison sheets of quotation for review.
• As required assist with the preparation of submission documents.
• Ensure that safety, environmental and traffic management planning and controls are implemented in accordance with the company’s, legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the preparation of quality assurance, environmental control documents for submission purposes.
• Participate in team meetings; promote safe working methods in your work place.

Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Civil Engineering are essential for this role, must have experience with AutoCAD drawing programs.
