JOB DESCRIPTION

Programmed Training Services specialise in the employment of Apprentices and Trainees with our clients and the design and delivery of nationally accredited training.

Programmed, in partnership with Rhodes Projects, are offering an exciting and rewarding 4 year apprenticeship program, for individuals who have a passion for a career in Engineering and/or Manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to kick start your career with an Apprenticeship which involves completion of Certificate III in Engineering- Fabrication Trade Apprenticeship.

Location: Eastern Suburbs (Melbourne)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this Trade Apprenticeship will involve the use a wide range of hand and hand tools held power tools and workshop machines such as drills, grinders, benders and lifting equipment. In a safe and supportive work environment you will learn the fundamentals of frame assembly, by developing a range of transferable skills such as: performing engineering measurements; interacting with computing technology; carrying out mechanical cutting; applying fabrication, forming and shaping techniques; assembling fabricated components; marking off/out structural fabrications and shapes and other tasks as required

You will be a self and highly motivated individual that is team focussed, with a "can do" attitude, enthusiasm and drive to learn, strong work ethic, a strong focus on safety and focussed on completing a Certificate III/Trade Apprenticeship qualification.

Completion in a relevant Pre-Apprenticeship or trade work advantageous but not required.

Our process includes undergoing a pre-employment medical examination 'fit for work' (including passing a drug and alcohol screen)
