Newnham Karl Weir & Partners (NKWP) is a Land surveying company based in Coffs Harbour NSW, due to an increase in workload and projected future works we are in need of an experienced draftsman to help our team continue into the future.

The job will mainly include preparation of topographical details but also include drafting deposited plans, strata plans and as-constructed documentation with the potential to include working with 3d Point clouds from laser scanners or drones. You will be required to work with the surveyors throughout all stages of your work.

The Job will be a full-time office job, with the candidate based in Coffs Harbour. Working from home may be allowed once proficiency is proven.

Required to have:

• A diploma or equivalent qualification, or 3+ years experience within the survey industry and knowledge of survey drafting.
• Demonstrates intermediate to advanced level skills using AUTOCAD or BRICSCAD (mandatory).

Advantageous to Have:

• General knowledge of other CAD packages and survey packages e.g. 12d, Liscad
• Knowledge of GIS and Spatial data concepts
• Experience with working with point clouds and 3d modelling
