Right now, we are seeking a motivated and customer focused Trades Assistant (Boilermaker) to join our Laverton branch.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be joining a diverse team of professionals and gain experience in the servicing and repair of Caterpillar equipment. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting qualified Boilermakers and Diesel Technicians in the repair and maintenance of Caterpillar equipment and machinery
• Completing required paperwork accurately and effectively
• Providing quality customer service to our loyal customers
• Helping to minimize machine downtime and maximize productivity
• Complying with all company safety, health and environment procedures
• Maintaining a high level of presentation standards

Your positive can-do attitude and work ethic will make you the perfect team player in this busy role.

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills/experience:

• Experience in a similar role (Trades Assistant) 
• Strong mechanical ability and understanding
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Highly developed communication skills
• Welding ability would be highly regarded
